A Child Theme is a WordPress theme that inherits its design, features, and functionalities from a parent theme. It allows you to make modifications without affecting the main (parent) theme, ensuring your changes are safe from updates.
In our latest update of Gradiant Pro theme, there are three new Child Themes : Gradiant X , Shadiant and Color Flow. Below, we will understand the difference between Gradiant X , Shadiant and Color Flow.
The Gradiant X , Shadiant and Color Flow child themes differ mainly in design, color schemes, and some sections. All three offer a unique style but are built on the same foundation of Gradiant Pro. You’ll notice changes in homepage layouts, color options, and section arrangements, allowing you to choose the one that best fits your site’s branding.
Now that we’ve covered the differences between Gradiant X , Shadiant and Color Flow, let’s see how to set up all three themes.
Setting up the Gradiant X theme in Gradiant Pro is simple since the primary differences lie in the Header Type , Color Scheme and Info Type. Let’s walk through these steps:
Setting Up Header Type
Before proceeding, ensure you’re logged into your WordPress Dashboard.
To Set up the Header Type, follow these steps:
- From the WordPress Dashboard, navigate to Appearance > Customize.
- On the Customizer page, go to Header > Header Type.
- Scroll down until you see the Gradiant X Header at number 7.
- Click Publish when you’re done.
Setting Up Theme Color
To Setup the Theme Color , follow these steps:
- From the WordPress Dashboard, navigate to Appearance > Customize.
- On the Customizer page, go to Style Configurator > Theme Color.
- Under Color Type, select Gradiant Color.
- In the Primary Color section, enter the color code as #94D13A.
- In the Primary Color 2 section, enter the color code as #70BA02.
- Click Publish when you’re done.
Setting Up Info Boxes
To Setup the Info Boxes , follow these steps:
1. From the WordPress Dashboard, navigate to Appearance > Customize.
2. On the Customizer page, go to Appearance > Widgets.
3. Scroll down until you see the Info Widget Area.
4. Open the dropdown and click on “Add Block,” then select “Info Box.”
5. Add four Info Boxes.
6. For the first and fourth Info Boxes, set the Info Type as Style 1. Click on the Info Box, then open the Info Type dropdown option on the right side of the page, and type Style 1.
7. For the second and third Info Boxes, set the Info Type as Style 6.
8. Set the Columns to 2 for the first and fourth Info Boxes. To adjust the column settings, click on the Info Box, open the Layout Settings dropdown, and select the appropriate column layout.
9. For the second and third Info Boxes, set the Columns to 4.
10. Click Save/Update when you’re done.
Setting up the Color Flow theme in Gradiant Pro is simple since the primary differences lie in the Header Type , Color Scheme and Info Type . Let’s walk through these steps:
Setting Up Header Type

- Under Color Type, select Gradiant Color.

- In the Primary Color 2 section, enter the color code as #00C6FB
- Click Publish when you’re done.
Setting Up Info Boxes
To Setup the Info Boxes , follow these steps:
1. From the WordPress Dashboard, navigate to Appearance > Customize.
2. On the Customizer page, go to Appearance > Widgets.
3. Scroll down until you see the Info Widget Area.
4. Open the dropdown and click on “Add Block,” then select “Info Box.”
5. Add four Info Boxes.
6. For All the four info box, set the Info Type as Style 4. Click on the Info Box, then open the Info Type dropdown option on the right side of the page, and type Style 4.
8. Set the Columns to 3 for all the Info Boxes. To adjust the column settings, click on the Info Box ,open the Layout Settings dropdown, and select the appropriate column layout.
9. Click Save/Update when you’re done.
Setting up the Shadiant theme in Gradiant Pro is simple since the primary differences lie in the Header Type , Color Scheme and Info Type . Let’s walk through these steps:
