Homepage Setting
Go to Pages > Add New > Create a page named Home ( the name could be anything you like).
At the right side under the template drop-down menu is for choosing the home page.
you have to choose the template and publish it.
-In This step you can assign Home Page as a Front page.
Go to Pages -> Add New -> Create a page named Home (name is not so important )
Publish the Page.
Go to setting -> Reading-> Static Front Page
Select A static page
Under homepage, select Home (or Whatever You Named Your FrontPage).
